It was a great opening round of the SAFF 2012 Premiership season with all of the Stockholm based teams battling it out for Anzac Day.
Last years runners up Södermalm made their mark on season 2012 with a massive win over the Årsta Swans in the first game at Årsta fältet. It was then the Bromma Vikings sending out early warning that they will be a force this year as they came from behind to topple the reining premiers Solna.

A big thank you also goes to Rion Farmer and Ben Kirk for hosting the Anzac Ceremony in remembrance of those Australian and New Zealand verterans who gave their lives in the First Wolrd War. This ceremony was held in between the matches and all four teams lined up for a remembrance speach, the last post and a minute of silience.
